The Great Lakes Chapter of the ICG held its Fall 2015 Meeting at Golfer's Advantage in Fenton Township, Michigan.

Here's a quick summary of the meeting's highlights.

Host ICG member Gary Cottrell's facility is over 1,500 square feet with Trackman fitting area, putting green, and a large shop.  22 members attended, and there were three workshops.  ICG Hall of Fame member Jerry Hoefling, Sr., discussed fixing the driver vertical swing plane of a customer eliminating his chick wing left arm at impact and open face angle.  ICG member Bob Uebelhor conducted a live putter fitting with member Johnny Dulin.  Bob improved Johnny's putting by an alignment and weight change.  ICG member and sponsor Roy Kaltz presented his APS machine.

After the workshops, the Chapter raffled off donated prizes from ICG sponsors Alpha Golf, Miura Golf and Wishon Golf.  ICG Sponsor Accra Golf sent the Chapter 25 Shop aprons.  Wishon Golf offered attendees great demo pricing. And the ICG provided each attendee with a Second Guy Golf Guild embroidered shirt.

Members then met for lunch and golf at the Coyote Golf Preserve (an outstanding Arnold Palmer design).

The Great Lakes Chapter of the ICG is the blueprint for the formation of future regional chapters.  The dedication and talent of their members make their biannual meetings a great learning experience.  It's no wonder that ICG members travelled from Canada (2!), New York, Connecticut, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and from the four corners of Michigan.

Chapter president Greg Courtnay videotaped all three workshops with a HD video camera. Watch workshop video highlights here.
